Happy Christmas to everyone!  We hope you have survived 2020

The news this year is that we are all, so far, covid free and well, but because of travel limitations there are no exiting holidays to report.  We were just about to pay for our holiday to Greece when the curtain came down, so that it is now on hold, ready for this year, end of May if allowed.  Jon, Bex and Katie were very lucky to get to Crete in August but Ju, Steve and Rosie found all camping sites closed or full and so have not had a summer holiday, just Cornwall in February

We had a lovely week in Cornwall in September and Roy & Bev joined us for a few days as part of their Ruby Wedding celebrations, we had one fine glorious day of the seven but that's Cornwall!

The garden looked lovely on Garden's Open Day as we had plenty of time to spend on it, but we weren't allowed to open but we did a virtual tour which you can see on youtube.

Jon, Bex and Katie are still at Hatherop Castle School.  As Head of Upper School Jon is busy organising this year's panto!  Bex is enjoying her new job as temporary Head of a special needs school in Oxford.  They have decided to sell their house in Cornwall in order to have a permanent base in our area and we shall all miss 'Cornwall House' a lot.

Juliet has a new horse, Denver, one that she trained from birth at college, was sold, but now she had the chance to buy.  Rosie is going on in leaps and bounds (ie jumps) on Larry and can't wait for the Horse Show season to re-open.  Last year at primary school too!  Steve is overwhelmed with work as ozone is in demand for its antiseptic properties.

Sadly Philip's older brother Robert died in January

We hope everyone is keeping well and safe and pray that 2021 will be a kinder and freer year for all.

 Love and Best Wishes

MARY & PHILIP
